How to play the game
Four simple steps stand between you and the truth.
The game in plain words
Read the mystery. Pick the murderer. Wait for the truth.
On each game night, one member of the Dread Family becomes the victim. Read the case briefing and look at the family suspects. Before reports close, choose the person you think committed the murder and submit your report. When the solution is revealed, you will learn whether you solved the case and how many points you earned.
Play as a family
Investigate together—or compete against one another.
A whole household can submit individual reports from one mobile device. Compare theories, keep your choice secret, and see who climbs highest on the leaderboard. Only one investigator will be crowned Master Inspector and receive a prize befitting the title on All Hallows’ Eve.

Playing together
One phone can report for the family.
An adult account can add up to 2 child profiles. Children do not need their own email address, and each child receives a separate investigator alias, case history, score, and rank.
Two adults
Link the household accounts.
Two verified adult accounts can be linked. Either adult can then use one mobile device to submit reports for both adults and their children—up to 6 individual investigators with the current household settings.
